Building the Next Generation
One of our greatest investments isn't in lumber or concrete—it's in people.
For more than two decades, the Norfolk Area Home Builders Association has partnered with Northeast Community College to prepare students for successful careers in the skilled trades. Since 2004, our association has invested nearly $130,000 in construction-related education through scholarships, equipment purchases, and support for the Applied Technology Building.
Each year, we award scholarships to students pursuing careers in Building Construction, Electrical Construction & Control, and HVAC while also supporting opportunities like SkillsUSA competitions that allow students to showcase their talents on the state and national stage.
By investing in education today, we're helping ensure Northeast Nebraska has the skilled workforce needed to build tomorrow's homes, businesses, and communities.

Our association represents a network of local businesses that includes contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, financial institutions, real estate professionals, engineers, designers, and many other service providers.
