The purpose of the Norfolk Area Home Builders Association is to allow builders, remodelers, and associated businesses within the surrounding counties in order to provide mutual advantage and cooperation and to collaborate with all fields related to the residential building industry for the benefit of the industry as a whole and to assist in the accomplishment of the mutual objectives of the National Association of Home Builders of the United States and the Nebraska Home Builders Association.
The Norfolk Area Home Builders sponsor and organize the Norfolk Area Home and Garden Show held each year in March at the Chuck M Pohlman Ag Center at Northeast Community College.

Executive Board responsible for establishing budget and all board share in the responsiblity for staying in budget.
Website, press releases, advertising, newsletter, social media marketing
Maintain the meeting schedule and educational components, including the shoot out and golf outing
Responsible for all aspects of the home show
Involvement with the Chamber Legislative conference call, local issues, State and National BuildPAC
Coordinating membership drive, recruiting new members, mentoring current members
Habitat for Humanity, scholarships, donations, Skills USA,working with schools to promote the trades.
